Rumors emerged that the makeup mogul named her first child, "Butterfly" after she was seen wearing a butterfly necklace and showed off the baby's butterfly-themed nursery in her latest Youtube video. However that was until her mother, Kris Jenner took to her Instagram to post a photo of her daughter's beauty product.
The photo and caption caused fans to wonder if the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch was dropping a clue about the baby's name.
"So cute! One of my favorite @kyliecosmetics shades!! Posie K is launching as a limited edition trio set to celebrate the second anniversary! Feb 5 on KylieCosmetics.com," Jenner wrote.
The new Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit shade is called "Posie K." and comes in a pink heart-covered box. Instagram users immediately began to assume that Posie could be used as a nickname for Mariposa, which is a Spanish word that translates to "Butterfly." They also believe that K in the products name is either a middle initial or simply Jenner's way of continuing with the K tradition, as all of the Kardashian-Jenner girls names start with a K.
While on Twitter, Kylie's fans began to place bets on the name "Monarch," because it's butterfly related.
"I'm calling it right now, Kylie is going to call the baby Monarch. Its butterfly related AND bougie af, the perfect mix," one Twitter user wrote.
Other social media users also pointed out that it wouldn't be a surprise if she decided to name her baby girl "Butterfly" as both she and her boyfriend, Travis Scott have matching minuscule butterfly tattoos.
The pair shared a photo of their matching tattoos only two months after they started dating.
As previously reported, Jenner and Scott welcomed their first child on Feb. 1, but the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star did not confirm the news until Sunday, Feb 4.
Jenner took to Instagram to post a lengthy message apologizing to her fans and briefly explained her pregnancy journey.
Neither Kylie nor Scott have confirmed their daughter's name, however, it will be interesting if fans' speculations were correct.
