Before getting into discussions about Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus performed her two latest singles on Good Morning America Wednesday on the rooftop of ABC's New York City studio.

The 20-year-old sang We Can't Stop and Fall Down in a black crop top and white short shorts. She danced around the stage and during the performance playfully slapped the bitt of her backup dancer. She welcomed surprise guest Will.i.am to help her sing Fall Down, the second single off her upcoming 2013 album.

Cyrus performed in front of a live audience that included GMA co-hosts Sam Champion, Robin Roberts, George Stephanopolous, Lara Spencer and Josh Elliot. Afterwards, she sat down with the anchors address reports of a future wedding and rumors of a split from Hemsworth, her fiancé of one-year.

"I'm wearing a ring, so..." she said, suggesting that her engagement with Hemsworth is still on.

She also credited her fans for helping her get through tough times like her parents' recent split.

"I've got a really bomb fan base - the smilers. They're the ones that are getting [my video for We Can't Stop] to be at 33 million views," she said. "Haters are going to hate, but haters are also going to click on your YouTube video to watch it, so I don't really care. You helped me break the record. And if you were watching just to hate on me, now I hold the record, so I win."

Cyrus took to the stage after suffering from a sore throat that she revealed via Twitter on June 22, saying the pain held her back from performing her We Can't Stop.
