The cast of Teen Mom OG is expanding as Mackenzie Edwards announces that she is expecting a new baby.

A New Start

According to E! News, fans of Teen Mom OG were blown away when Mackenzie showed one of the series producers a pregnancy test during a teaser for an upcoming episode of the MTV Reality TV docu-series.

The pregnancy test as shown on the MTV cameras indicates a positive sign, and of course, it means that Mackenzie is expecting her first child with her husband Ryan Edwards.

"I'm ready when you're ready. I think now is as good a time as ever," said Ryan to Mackenzie in a recent episode.

The baby will be Ryan's first child with Mackenzie. The father-to-be is stepfather to Mackenzie's 4-year-old son, Hudson and is also the father of Bentley, his son with his fellow Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout.

Ryan, however, has a strained relationship with Bookout's boyfriend Taylor McKinney. McKinney has often criticized the Edwards and blasted them on social media.

"Well, when you have 2 jobless adults, one of whom is 30-years-old and still needs his a-wiped, what do you think the dinner convos will be?" wrote McKinney in a social media post.

Kailyn Lowry's Baby Fever

It appears that the Edwards are not the only members of the reality series who want a baby. Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry admitted that she wants a fourth baby in the future.

During the March 22 episode of her podcast Coffee Convos with Kali Lowry and Lindsie Chrisley, she revealed that she had researched sperm banks and wanted to freeze her eggs. Lowry also added that she has not ruled out using a sperm donor to bring her fourth child into the world.

Catelynn Lowell's Miscarriage Blues

Meanwhile, sources close to another Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell stated that she is not ready to have another baby following a heartbreaking miscarriage in 2017. She has been focusing on raising her 3-year-old daughter, Nova, with husband Tyler Baltierra and focusing on her clothing line, Tierra Reign.

Also, Lowell has been productive outdoors and spends time running errands, too. She has also been more receptive to talking about her mental health issues.

Both Lowell and Baltierra appeared on the podcast Voices For Change 2.0 and spoke about their experience in dealing with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

Brianna Jaramillo And Her Transgender Boyfriend

In the spin-off Teen Mom: Young And Pregnant, Brianna Jaramillo is raising her son Braeson with her transgender boyfriend Danae. Jaramillo initially had no clue that Danae was born a girl, but she decided to embrace him.

Despite not being Braeson's biological father, Danae hopes to show Braeson, who was born without a left forearm and a hand, the different facets of human experience.
