Is Kanye West finally fixing things between him and rapper Drake?

In Kanye's latest interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music Beats 1, his plan on "ceasing" fire with Drake was one of the few things he talked about.

Just a few hours away from releasing his anticipated "Jesus Is King" album, the American rapper made several revelations and one of which was how he tried to fix his beef with the Canadian hip-hop artist.

Kanye vs. Drake

Kanye and Drake's friendship cracked last year when the latter had a beef with Pusha T.

Pusha announced publicly that Drake allegedly fathered a child, while Drake did not say anything about it. Soon after, Drake said that the only person he told about his son was Kanye, and the American rapper might have betrayed his trust by telling this information to Pusha.

However, Pusha said it was Drake's friend and collaborator Noah Shebib who told him.

Since that, Drake and Kanye were not in speaking terms and were not seen each other around. Nonetheless, West appeared to have made an effort to bury the hatchet between them.

Ending Feud with Drake

The "Jesus Is King" rapper told Lowe that he has been trying to drive into Drake's house, hoping he could get a chance to see and talk to the "One Dance" hitmaker.

According to Kanye, he finds God funny because he and Drake only live four blocks away, and he takes it as God's sense of humour because because both of them are in a rivalry.

Ye also said that no one can be in service to God if you are mad at your brother. He revealed that he walked to Drake's house with no security around him and left his phone number. He did not even try to ring the doorbell, thinking maybe Drake could be busy.

Kanye added that he can't stand a day with an uneasy feeling in his spirit. He could not sleep on it and he had to express it. He also explained that him and Drake refused to talk to each other for six months, and it was a painful experience for him.

Kanye also shared whether or not there is truth on the rumors about a strain on his friendship with rapper, friend and collaborator Jay Z. He stated that he has much respect and love for Jay Z, but he is aware that there is a lineage between him, Jay, and Drake.
