Samuel L. Jackson has not been quiet about his desire to be in the next Star Wars.

Although his character was killed off, or rather had his arm chopped off and fell out a window, during Revenge of the Sith. However, Jackson believes he could have survived.

"I want to be in "Star Wars" now too, in J.J.'s Star Wars," Jackson recently said on BBC's Graham Norton Show. "I mean, come on. Jedi fall from incredible heights and a lot of them have lived with one hand. I think I could handle it."

We all know that one-handed Jedi's generally manage to require some sort of appendage. It was not the first time Jackson said he would like his Mace Windu to come back.

"Maybe everyone thinks I'm dead and we'll find out what happened to Mace Windu," Jackson said, according to ScreenRant. "I can come back as one-armed or a one-handed Jedi that's still around that didn't actually die."

Well some fans may like to see the return of the purple lightsaber wielding Jedi, the character would have never been granted the odd colored device if he hadn't wanted to standout in a fight scene.

"We had this big arena fight scene with all these Jedi and their fighting and whatever and I was like, 'Well shit, I want to be able to find myself in this big old scene,'" Jackson told Graham Norton. "So I said to George, 'you think maybe I can get a purple lightsaber?'"

Whether Abrams will choose to include Windu in the next film remains to be seen.
