Jamie Foxx is set to play the new villain in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and his look is quite menacing. In a short teaser released on Wednesday, a bald Foxx looks swollen and vicious.

"I can feel it in the walls. I feel it in my veins," he is heard saying in the clip. "No matter what you do doc, you can't contain it. You want to know how powerful I am? Well I want to know too. I'm Electro."

The 45-year-old spoke with MTV in 2012 and explained what makes his villain's appearance noteworthy.

"Marc Webb and all those guys that are doing it are smart, they know that it has to make sense in 2013," he said of his costume. "The suit is really slick, it's not green, it's actually black, but it's the new age."

The actor also revealed how the villain comes to be. Before becoming Electro, the character is a loner whose ideas are constantly stolen by others. While he thinks that nobody even knows his name, Max Dillon is shocked to hear Spiderman call him by his government. This is his first motivation towards a transformation. Tragedy then hits, and he decides to become Electro, the nemesis.

Foxx will attend the San Diego Comic-Con panel on Friday in support of the film and will be accompanied by co-stars Andrew Garfield, Dane DeHann and the movie's director Marc Webb.

In the sequel to 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man, Peter Parker (Garfield) is managing his crazy life that includes fighting crime, attending school and enjoying time with his love interest Gwen (Emma Stone). The superhero faces a major tribulation when he encounters the new villain, Electro. Harry Osborn (DeHaan), his old friend returns, as well.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 comes to U.S. theaters on May 2, 2014, two years after the prequel.
