Emma Roberts and Evan Peters apparently have "very passionate" relationship, according to Us Weekly.

Early in the week it was revealed that the 22-year-old actress was arrested on charges of domestic violence while staying in Canada. Now sources are claiming the incident occurred because they are very passionate people who were caught up in an argument that went a little too far.

On July 7, hotel patrons called police when they hear a disturbance form the couples' room at the Montreal establishment. When police arrived on the screen, Roberts was arrested since Peters had a visibly bloody nose and a bite mark. However, photos from days after the incident show that Roberts had bruises all over her legs, according to TMZ.

When Peters declined to press charges, Roberts was released. In a statement issued by the couple, the altercation was described as an "unfortunate incident and misunderstanding," according to Us Weekly.

As reported by sources close to the couple, the pair has a soild, although heated, relationship.

"They're a couple young kids," a source told Us Weekly. "Their romance is pretty extreme. They just behave in a way that's very passionate."

The couple appears to still be together despite the altercation.
