Two days after Jimmy Fallon's and wife Nancy Juvonen's baby daughter was born, the Late Night host shared her first public photo.

On Thursday, Fallon posted a photo of his newborn on Instagram captioning it: "I would like to introduce...Winnie Rose Fallon."

The photo is a close-up of Winnie's face with her eyes shut. She is wrapped up in a white blanket wearing a baby blue and pink stripped bow hat.

The same day, Fallon also shared Winnie's "very first GIF (Graphics Interchange Format)" on his Tumblr page of Winnie's hand opening and clasping as if she were waving.

During Wednesday night's episode of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the 38-year-old host thanked everyone for their well wishes and remarked how he now knows what "Facebook and Twitter and the blogs" are for. "Now we understand why people are on Facebook," he said. "I get it now. That's why these pictures exist!"

After joking that social media sites are for sharing such photos, Fallon decided to post his first baby photo to share with his 9.3 million-plus followers on Twitter as well as on Tumblr. During the monologue, he also revealed his baby's name and talked about his first few days as a father.

"It's been a crazy couple days...It's very taxing on the fathers. I don't know how it is for the mothers, but very taxing. I'm emotionally drained," he shared. "I hope I don't screw this up. I'm just so happy and the past 24 hours have been really exciting."

Winnie was born on Tuesday at 5 lbs, 9 oz in New York. This is the first child Fallon and his 46-year-old wife have together. The couple got married in 2007 after meeting through mutual friend, Drew Barrymore.

"My wife and I thank you for all of the nice baby well wishes. Her first day was the best day of our lives. So happy. Thanks again," he tweeted on Wednesday.
