Bob Odenkirk, star of Better Call Saul, suffered a bad heart attack. In an interview with The New York Times, he finally opened up about how he survived it.

A BuzzFeed article summarized the terrifying events of the day and proved that, had it not been for the supportive team that he worked with, he may not be alive. They had been filming for the hit series Better Call Saul all day long. After the shooting had wrapped, Odenkirk elected to go spend time with Rhea Seehorn and Patrick Fabian, fellow actors on the show.

This was a change for he typically would have gone back to his private trailer during the down time. The decision to be social ultimately saved his life. Odenkirk recalled that when he was with the two, the heart attack hit. "I went to play the Cubs game and ride my workout bike, and I just went down...Rhea said I started turning bluish-gray right away." Luckily, his friends were there to help.

The two grabbed the health and safety advisor, Rosa Estrada, and they were able to get him the help that he needed. They attempted to restart his heart three times. On the third attempt, it finally took. After he was officially revived, he spent a week in the hospital to fully recouperate.

There have been so many untimely celebrity deaths recently, we are so glad to hear about one that was prevented. We are thrilled to hear that Odenkirk is back in good health!
