Comedian turned horror director Jordan Peele's third film Nope finally gave audiences a bigger peek into what this highly secretive production is all about, and even still, it keeps us in the dark in much of the goings on.

During Super Bowl LVI, Nope aired a full length trailer, though kept it vague for the most part much the way Peele's first two films, Get Out and Us, did before hitting theaters. From what we can tell so far, this is most likely an alien abduction film, given that we see (or rather don't see) characters staring up at an unknown entity in the sky for most of the trailer. This also includes a shot of Keke Palmer being sucked into the sky during a dust storm out on her California horse ranch.

The other clue, in a blink and you miss it clip, involves a slimy dripping arm giving a fist bump to a smaller child's fist. Could it be a being from another world? Who knows? When it comes to the outside the box storytelling of Peele definatley knows how to keep you guessing. One element which will more than likely be present in the film is a social commentary on race and the human condition, a topic that Peele has infused into his narratives with a panache that many creatives simply don't achieve these days.

The film stars Keke Palmer (Hustlers), Daniel Kauuya (Get Out), Steven Yuen (The Walking Dead), Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria), and Michael Wincott (The Crow), and was shot in Imax for a more powerful viewing experience.

Nope will be in theaters and Imax on July 22nd, but until then you can check out the trailer below.
