Ever wonder what it'd be like to be a fly on the wall in the conversations these famous musicians have? Here's a taste:

Rapper, producer, and Music Hall Of Famer Jermaine Dupri dropped a surprising truth bomb today, in the form of a video posted to his instagram.

The video takes place in what appears to be a crowded bar, where Dupri is having drinks with musicians Usher and Bruno Mars.

In the caption, Dupri explains:

"( Fun Fact ) @usher came to the krisKross concert in ATL at the Fox with his manager at the time AJ to get me to sign him, this was before he signed to LAFace,I wanted to do it but I didn't have the bandwidth nor was my vision clear that I have a gift with working with younger artist, now for @brunomars he reminds me of this every time we're together I was so young and I didn't have all the resources and I was true to my self in knowing that"

In other words, Dupri missed an amazing opportunity to sign one of the 2010s biggest musicians early on, but he wasn't yet ready to take on more clients - and the same thing happened with Bruno Mars, who reminds him about this, and teases him, every chance he gets.

"I should've signed you!" you can hear the artist say in the video. "I should've signed you from the jump."

Usher offers some comfort to his friend though, saying "Woah, should've signed me? We made history!" Clearly, the singer has the mentality that everything happens for a reason.

Oh, also, Anderson Paak was there. Oh, to be in that room.
