Well folks, it looks like we've come full circle from 2008, because Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are now set to co-star in another movie together - and yes, they're playing love interests.

First of Fourth Productions has just announced that they'll be teaming up with director John Madden to take on a brand new adaptation of Shakespeare's famous comedy, Much Ado About Nothing, and they're clearly casting it with the 20-somethings who grew up with Twilight in mind.

The Spencer star will take on the role of the snarky and independent Beatrice in the original enemies-to-lovers tale, a role last played on screen by the incomparable Emma Thompson. Meanwhile, The Batman himself will be playing the boisterous and smooth-talking Benedict.

Other cast members announced thus far include Alison Brie as Hero, and Bridgerton's Luke Newton will play Claudio.

This news means we will once again get to see Edward Cullen and Bella Swan swoon at one another on screen - this time, without the constraints of characters that they - or at least Rob - clearly did not love at the time. Beatrice and Benedict have a very different relationship, and are constantly at each others' throats before they realize they're in love with each other.

Of course, this does also mean that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be playing romantic leads again, which brings up the elephant in the room: These two were once engaged, and it did not end well. Still, they managed to keep things professional in Breaking Dawn, so we can't imagine they'll have any issue here, especially since I made literally all of this up.

YUP. APRIL FOOLS!

Sorry guys, but also, no I'm not - much as I feel bad about getting your hopes up, April Fools is too beautiful a holiday to pass up on in this profession. (I guess I really have made a whole lot of ado about nothing...)

Plus, I do need to point out: We're at a point in the State of Hollywood or whatever that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson COULD feasibly appear in a movie together again. They're at very similar levels of fame and acclaim. They probably won't because the movie industry is huge, but come on - it's fun to imagine. (Also, I'd actually kill to see them in those roles.)

Anyway, happy April Fools Day! At least this wasn't another article about The Slap, right?
