Is Pat Sajak losing his job on "Wheel of Fortune?"

Fans campaign for his retirement or even dismissal because they consider him "awful" and "boring."

Many fans were dissatisfied with Sajak's hosting responsibilities and performance on Wednesday night's installment of the show.

Twitter was then swamped with requests for the 75-year-old to finally leave the program - either by allowing him to resign on his own terms or by firing him.

"I wish Pat Sajak would resign from Wheel of Fortune," one social media critic said.

"Pat Sajak has been a d-k for years," remarked another. Vanna in particular (White). But he's becoming more d-kish with contestants. "Get rid of the a-hole."

Pat Sajak just marked 40 years of presenting "Wheel of Fortune."

'Wheel of Fortune' Host's Weird Remarks

The National Enquirerclaimed last month that the "Wheel of Fortune" crew had complained about Pat Sajak's behavior.

They reported on Sajak's alleged behind-the-scenes shenanigans, as his co-workers allegedly pushed for him to be fired from the show.

Former staff members described Sajak as a "pompous guy" who should "either get with the program or get lost."

Despite his long experience as a game show host, the host does not appear to have many supporters on the set.

Pat Sajak, who earns a $15 million yearly salary as the host of "Wheel of Fortune," recently celebrated the show's 40th anniversary. When Friday came around, though, his production staff was apparently not in a joyous mood.

"It's no surprise no one on the broadcast addressed his 40th anniversary as host," a source told the magazine. He's not a popular person."

The nasty statements come as Sajak's behavior has been called into question, particularly his words to co-host Vanna White.

Just last week, he asked the hostess an "inappropriate question," and fans were outraged.

When Sajak questioned White if she was a fan of opera, she reportedly replied, "I'm not a fan, but I like opera."

"Have you ever watched opera in your underwear?" he inquired, before adding, "I'm simply wondering."

Viewers reacted quickly to the host's remarks, stating, "Sajak is improper asking White whether she's watched opera naked?" Are you sure? Gross."

Another person even demanded that "Wheel of Fortune" reconsider its sexual harassment policy.
