Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are preparing to visit the UK, but their recent actions imply they will be staying for an extended period of time.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, according to The Sun, made a surprising move to return to their Windsor life by renewing their lease on Frogmore Cottage, their residence, before travelling to the United States.

According to the publication, their surprising decision would assure a regal backdrop for their Kardashian-style Netflix documentary.

With Prince Harry, Meghan, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, also in town, this might be an opportunity for him to spend more time with his older brother and neighbor, Prince William.

The Sussexes are apparently planning to spend the whole Platinum Jubilee celebrations at the home, including Lilibet Diana's first birthday next Saturday.

The couple resided at the villa for six months before flying to the United States and stepping down from their top positions at the time.

However, it was announced last month that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex renewed their lease at the residence, which is only a 10-minute walk from Queen Elizabeth II's palace, with a 12-month rolling arrangement.

The occupants of Frogmore Cottage, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, are now in Portugal.

Royal sources believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle intend to spend more time in Windsor.

One insider even said, "that is quite a signal that they aren't going away. They might easily abandon Frogmore now that their lives are in California."

The Sussexes apparently have a strong presence in the centre of Windsor, which is the focal point of every activity, by extending the lease and with the existing renters busy abroad.

The insider added Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may "come and go whenever they choose."

"The coming year may be one of the most turbulent in royal history, and the Sussexes are ensuring they have a footing in Windsor."

Queen Elizabeth II To Meet Lilibet Diana on Her First Birthday

Meanwhile, The Sun said that Queen Elizabeth II intentionally cleared her calendar to attend a probable first birthday celebration for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's kid.

The 96-year-old monarch will most likely miss her favorite sporting event next Saturday to celebrate Lilibet Diana's one-year birthday.

Royal attendants are also said to be doing everything they can to manage the Queen's diary so she doesn't become fatigued because she has been suffering from "episodic mobility issues."
