Robert Downey Jr. reportedly contacted Johnny Depp after the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor won the defamation trial against Amber Heard.

Depp is not alone in celebrating his victory when he reclaimed his life by winning the recent legal battle. RDJ, like other celebrities, made sure that Depp knew they believed in him.

In a post shared by CinemaBlend, it quoted New York Post's report about Depp's conversation with the "Iron Man" star. His close friend, Josh Richman, said that the two actors had a FaceTime conversation while Depp was with his supporters during a charity live stream event for Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe actor purportedly told his longtime pal, "John, thank God it's over."

A spokesman for Depp confirmed to the outlet that RDJ, indeed, FaceTimed the actor after the verdict was read in public.

Depp and RDJ have been friends for decades. They both rose in Hollywood and faced issues with drug addiction.

According to OK! Magazine, the "Avengers: Endgame" star has been supporting Depp through his tough times. In fact, RDJ even praised his friend and revealed he could not admire anyone else more.

"There's nobody I admire more. We've known each other a million years. We came up through the ranks together," RDF said.

He also tried to help him with his career by pushing to bring Depp to his "Sherlock Holmes" third movie.

Johnny Depp Did Something Amber Heard Failed To Do

Garnering support from celebrities and fans is no longer surprising, especially since Depp himself has been helping everyone regardless of the issues he receives.

Most recently, Depp reportedly donated $800,000 to several charities after selling his NFTs. Never Fear Truth, the community he created, split the amount and sent them to Perth Children's Hospital Foundation, the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, The Footprint Coalition, and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

"We are pleased to be able to confirm nearly $800,000 in total donations," the company told RadarOnline.

Depp's choice to donate to the Children's Hospital is interesting since Heard failed to donate her entire $7 million divorce settlement to the hospital and ACLU.

For what it's worth, she said in 2016 that she would divide the amount and donate them to charities. However, Depp's star lawyer Camille Vasquez managed to make her admit that she had not fulfilled it years after receiving the money.

At that time, the "Aquaman" actress said she was unable to do so because Depp dragged her to court. Heard only managed to give $1.3 million of the promised $3.5 million to ACLU.
