In an appearance with "The Martha Stewart Show" podcast, Alex Rodriguez recently discussed his ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez.

But it appears that they have no ill will because he only had positive things to say about the "Jenny From the Block" hitmaker.

Lopez is the "most gifted human being I've ever been around," according to A-Rod.

The former MLB player continued, "Hardest worker. And I believe she is the best living performer in the world now."

Rodriguez and Lopez began dating in February 2017, but they split up four years later, just months after he proposed to her.

The baseball legend also spoke about their friendship, adding that he and the "Maid in Manhattan" had a "wonderful time" and "always put the kids front and center in whatever we do."

Alex Rodriguez has two children, Natasha, 17, and Ella, 14, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, whilst Jennifer Lopez has two children, Emme and Max, 14, with ex-husband Mark Anthony.

Though the former power couple appeared to have moved on from their romance, Lopez and Rodriguez are said to wish one other and their children the best.

Lopez later restarted her romance with Ben Affleck, with whom she had previously been engaged in 2004, and fell right back into it when the "Deep Water" actor went down on one knee and asked her the same question again.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Wedding

There is no set date for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's wedding, but it is feasible that they will walk down the aisle sooner this time.

According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, they want a quiet and private gathering, but if the "Hustlers" star has her way, it won't be that.

Lopez reportedly wants something huge.

According to the insider, the singer-dancer-actress wants a lavish wedding party, which she will be able to afford thanks to her large financial account.

"They are devoted to making this work and will go to any length to respect each other's limits and learn from their mistakes the last time."

While Lopez has stated that she is fine with taking her time with their engagement, the couple is anticipated to marry in the coming months if the "Daredevil" actress desires.

Lopez and Affleck began dating in 2002 and ended their engagement in 2004. The huge media presence around the occasion was blamed for the wedding's cancellation.
