Sylvester Stallone is unrelenting in his criticism of the direction of the "Rocky" franchise, once again lashing out publicly at one of the original producers.

The actor did not mince any words when he went on the offensive for a second time over the weekend, publishing a harsh letter directed at Irwin Winkler.

Wrinkler is one of the OG producers of the franchise who helped get 'Rocky' off the ground decades ago and who reportedly has an ownership share in the intellectual property. Unfortunately, the face of this franchise - Stallone - does not have such a stake.

This is where Sylvester's gripe is mostly built upon according to TMZ, and he made this quite plain in yet another comment on Instagram, including images of Irwin and others depicted as animals and terrible villains stabbing Sly in the back, etc.

Sylvester writes, "After IRWIN WINKLER And FAMILY SUCK ROCKY DRY ! Assumed to be Hollywood's most reviled, inept, and aging producer, he and his cowardly offspring have located their next meal... Drago , RETURN MY RIGHTS BLOODSUCKERS!"

He is referring to the fact that Dolph Lundgren is said to be reprising his role from 'Rocky IV' in a spin-off picture, which Sylvester says he was unaware of and strongly disapproves of, stating that he never intended for these characters to be exploited to this extent in future ventures.

Sylvester takes out his former co-star by name, asking why he didn't contact him to discuss this before the rumor spread.

Just few weeks ago, Sylvester was also complaining about not owning any of 'Rocky' for himself, and he begged with Irwin to do the right thing and hand up some of the rights that he believes - at least in part - due to him as the film's creator.

Recently, Sylvester has been increasingly vocal about this issue, and it's beginning to turn ugly. Some supporters support the actor, while others criticize his behavior as unprofessional and desperate.

Dolph has responded to Sly's concerns on social media, writing "To put the record straight regarding the possibility of a Drago spin-off series: No script has been authorized, there are no deals in place, there is no director, and I was under the notion that my pal Sly Stallone was engaged as a producer or perhaps an actor. A press leak occurred last week, which was regrettable. Contact Mr. Balboa so that all the supporters can relax... That is it."

Irwin and his children, several of whom are currently participating in "Rocky" productions, preferred to keep mum about the matter.
