Willow Smith finally shares her thoughts on the unresolved tension between her Dad, Will Smith, and Comedian-Actor Chris Rock.

It's been 4 months since the Oscar-slapping incident, when Actor Will Smith struck Chris Rock onstage for making a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's Alopecia, an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss.

In a recent interview with Billboard, the 21-year-old singer talks about her career thus far and the demons she faces amid all the family drama.

"I see my whole family as being human, and I love and accept them for all their humanness," Willow told Billboard. "Because of the position that we're in, our humanness sometimes isn't accepted, and we're expected to act in a way that isn't conducive to a healthy human life and isn't conducive to being honest."

Willow's thoughts were expressed following her father's public apology video posted just recently on Youtube. The "Whip my hair" singer has kept quiet after the incident in March, aside from sharing a vague Instagram Story after the event.

As of now, Chris Rock has refused to confront Will Smith after the latter issued his apology.

"You know who's going through a lot right now? Literally everyone. Just be kind" Willow shared in a snap.

Gaining fame as a 9-year-old from a famous family, Willow talked about her journey to keep pursuing her passion for music. The teen rockstar continues to hold her head up high amidst recent controversy surrounding her family, saying that this didn't "rock me as much as my own internal demons".

Co-president Shari Bryant from Willow's music label expressed that the singer has "shown nothing but pure authenticity".

"She has been a self-starter. She has been involved in every project. Once that comes across, it's like, how could you deny it?" Bryant said.

Willow launched her music career with "Whip my hair" in 2010, peaking at number 11 on the Billboard 100. The star was later signed as the youngest artist under Roc Nation by her mentor, Jay-Z, and released her single, "21st Century Girl", the year after. Through the years, she has received the Young Artist Award, NAACP Image Award, and BET Award for her music.

She has since launched 3 EP's, four solo studio albums, and one collaborative studio album: "The Anxiety" with Tyler Cole. Her latest album was launched in 2021, titled "Lately I Feel Everything".
