Will Smith is now breaking his silence after the "Oscars Slap" incident wherein he slapped Chris Rock with a reason.

In the video posted by the actor on his Youtube account, he first shared the way he is living his life right now in text.

"It's been a minute... Over the last few months, I've been doing a lot of thinking and personal work..."

As the "text" continued, he says that "You asked a lot of fair questions and wanted to take some time to answer."

As he sat down, he took a deep breath and started to address different questions including why he did not apologize to Chris in his acceptance speech.

Smith admitted that he was fogged out by that point and it's all fuzzy but he said that he tried to reach out with Chris but the "message that came back is that he is not ready to talk."

But Rock has promised him that when he is ready, he will reach out to Smith.

After answering the first question, Smith apologize to Rock as if he is really talking to the latter.

"I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable."

He even sends his apology to Rock's mother and his family for the pain he caused.

He also shares how the incident affects him and his life, saying that he spent 3 months replaying and understanding the nuances and the complexities of "what happened in that moment."

Smith admits that his behavior is inappropriate, "there is no part of me thinks that is the optimal way to handle a feeling of disrespect or insults."

The next question is asking if Jada asked him to do something about the "insult" she's received from the actor-comedian in which Smith strongly disagree and says that his wife has nothing to do with what he did and the outcome of his actions.

When asked to give his statement to the people who looked up to him or to the people who expressed that he let them down, he bexame more emotional.

"Disappointing people is my central trauma, I hate when I let people down so it hurts." Smith said. "It hurts me psychologically and emotionally to know that I did not live up to people's image and impression of me."

He also said that he is trying to be remorseful without being ashamed of himself and he promise to the people that he is deeply "devoted "and "committed" to putting "light and love and joy" into the world.
