Meghan Markle's podcast has finally gotten an episode. Unfortunately, it did not receive many good reviews.

Indeed, "Archetypes," which was uploaded on Spotify on Tuesday, has already received a lot of attention.

The Duchess of Sussex was dubbed "pathetic" after she chose to tell a story about herself rather than focus on her first ever guest, Serena Williams.

The former "Suits" star reminded everyone of how famous she was when she was just 11 years old. Meghan Markle recalled the notorious anecdote about changing a sexist soap advertising after writing a letter to then-First Lady Hillary Clinton.

The 41-year-old mother of two also recalled how she fought Procter & Gamble's soap ad 30 years ago, describing the incident as a "awakening" to "the millions of ways, large and little, that our culture tries to box women in."

However, after hearing the story a million times, first-time listeners became weary of it and resorted to social media to express their displeasure.

One participant stated that they couldn't have an opinion till they listened to "Archetypes," so they did.

However, 20 seconds after hearing the soap ad narrative, the Twitter user was ready to switch off Spotify.

Many listeners felt bad for the tennis champion, who is also Meghan's friend, because the former royal kept on talking about her childhood narrative, which many people had already pointed out had been stated multiple times over and over.

A second individual said on Twitter that it's evident she's attempting to persuade people that P&G modified the advertisement as a result of her actions.

"Her name is Meghan Despair," they introduced her. "Meghan, we know you lied. It only makes you appear more pitiful. Serena Williams is being exploited."

Meghan Markle's New Podcast

Meghan Markle has recently launched her "unfiltered" podcast, featuring Serena Williams as the first episode's guest.

The two talked about the double standard that women face when they are "ambitious."

The mother-of-two and tennis great also revealed personal anecdotes about the difficulties they had as new moms, with the former princess discussing her experiences with the way ambition is regarded after beginning her relationship with Prince Harry.

Serena also recounted how the Duke of Sussex assisted her in making the choice to retire from tennis before she ever announced it, spending over an hour discussing the matter with her.

"I think, you know, I think both of us, or the three of us, really know that sometimes the right decision isn't the easiest decision," Meghan told Serena, referring to the Sussexes' decision to step down as senior working royals in 2020.
