Chrishell Stause Slams Katharine McPhee Over Alleged Support for ‘Problematic Men’

Chrishell Stause is under fire after she called out Katharine McPhee over what she described as support for "problematic men," igniting a heated online exchange that quickly spread across social media.
The drama began when TikTok user Jordy Cray posted a video discussing McPhee's personal life and past controversies, including her relationships and public moments tied to her career after "American Idol."
In the comments, "Selling Sunset" star Chrishell Stause wrote a sharp message aimed at McPhee, suggesting deeper criticism about the people she has supported and chosen to be around.
"One day she will find her real inner confidence but it won't come until after she is disregarded enough times by the problematic men she backs," Stause wrote.
According to US Magazine, she also added, "An insecure woman will steal your man, and give the worst advice."
The comment immediately triggered debate online, with users split over whether Stause was being honest or unnecessarily harsh. Some accused her of jealousy, while others defended her for speaking out.

Katharine McPhee Says She's "Confused"
McPhee, who rose to fame on "American Idol," responded after the situation was highlighted by E! News on Instagram.
A fan asked what she had done to upset Stause, and McPhee replied that she had no idea what the issue was.
"Honestly I have no idea," McPhee wrote. "I am just as confused about this controversy as you lmao."
According to clarification shared by TikTok creator Jordy Cray in the comment section, Stause's remarks may have been tied to McPhee's public support for Spencer Pratt's Los Angeles mayoral campaign.
The discussion also resurfaced older conversations about McPhee's past relationships and public appearances, which social media users have long debated.
McPhee's personal life has often been in the spotlight. She was previously married to Nick Cokas and later wed music producer David Foster in 2019, PageSix reported.
The couple share a son born in 2021 and have also faced attention due to their 35-year age gap.
Despite the renewed attention, McPhee has repeatedly said she prefers to ignore criticism and focus on her family.
