Even after their divorce, Jennifer Garner has always been there for her ex-husband Ben Affleck.

Despite their 12-year marriage ending in 2017, she has been unduly supportive of the "Batman V. Superman" actor.

Garner organized an intervention and compelled him to seek treatment for alcoholism in 2018; she even drove him there.

Garner, on the other hand, was not there at Affleck's wedding to Jennifer Lopez in Georgia last weekend, but that doesn't mean she isn't thrilled for them.

"I'm sure she's glad to get rid of her fourth child," said a source to Page Six.

Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Sam, 10, were present to watch their father marry the "Jenny From the Block" singer, a month after the pair married in a Las Vegas chapel in July.

Another insider said that even if Ben Affleck is no longer under Jennifer Garner's control, their lives will continue to intersect since they are inextricably linked.

According to the second source, "Jen has always addressed things the same way, regardless of who Ben has been with."

"They have kids together," they explained, "so if he has another episode or falls off the wagon, it will be her responsibility."

The insider, who knows Garner and Affleck personally, underlined that the "Alias" actress is a wonderful mother who has truly mothered their three children. But now they say it's wonderful that she won't have to have a fourth kid, referring to Affleck.

The source also mentioned that Garner grew up watching her parents and sisters happily married, so she felt obligated to do everything she could to make her marriages succeed. Fortunately, the mother of three recognizes that life happens, and she has moved on.

Friends of Jennifer Garner were outraged when Ben Affleck told Howard Stern in an interview last year that if she had still been married to the actress, he would have kept drinking.

In December, an unidentified friend told Page Sixthat one of the basic tenets of alcoholism is not blaming others for the sickness. After all, Garner has always looked after Affleck and has done so for the most of her life.

However, the "13 Going on 30" star clearly wants Affleck to be happy, but she has her own life and relationship, and she can't always be there for him.

Thank God, Jennifer Lopez, the source could've said.
