TikTok star Idan Ohayon "unexpectedly" died. He was 28.

Ohayon's agency, ADD Content Agency, confirmed the news in a statement on Instagram, calling him a "golden hearted" person.

"[We are] sorry for the family and are deeply hurt by the death of Idan, who was a talented, hardworking and golden-hearted guy," its said, as translated by Mirror UK.

Meanwhile, The Sun disclosed that the TikTok star's family also shared the news with local news outlet Ynetnews.com, saying that he passed away on Wednesday at Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon.

His family did not disclose Idan Ohayon's cause of death, but it was noted that he died due to a medical issue. However, fans assumed that he died due to his obesity or complications related to it.

NBC News quoted a study saying that an overweight person can experience health complications, including heart disease, cancer, and stroke.

Before Ohayon's death, he famously became a TikTok sensation who had over 140,000 followers and 2 million likes on the video streaming platform. He usually posted videos of himself mocking his own weight and eating more foods.

In one post, he expressed how surprised he was to see a video of him reach over 300,000 views in just one day. From there, he posted more and more videos.

He was still able to post his last video on Monday, eating an Ethiopian meat dish, Doro Wat. The video already has 1.4 million views as of press time.

His family has since held his funeral in Kiryat Gat.

Another TikTok Star Died

Ohayon's passing came weeks after another TikTok star, Tanya Pardazi, also succumbed after a tragic accident.

Skydive Toronto revealed that Pardazi got involved in a skydiving accident on August 27. It marked her first solo skydiving, but the skydiver launched her parachute too late.

The South Simcoe Police Service began the investigation into the incident to find out what led her to commit a mistake in pulling the parachute. Still, social media users suggested that she failed to inflate her parachute on time as she was probably recording a video of her jump for her TikTok page.

The police are yet to release an update regarding the probe. But it detailed that the accident happened in the area of 10 Sideroad and Line 4, causing her to sustain fatal injuries after falling.

Paradazi was still able to be rushed to the hospital, but she was pronounced dead.
