A new revelation about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is going viral on the internet.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been photographed with a bodyguard. He is, however, more than just a bodyguard.

Pere Daobry is a former Met Police officer who was convicted of strangling his wife and leaving her "seconds before death."

The 51-year-old was observed driving the pair in a Range Rover from Frogmore Cottage to London's Euston station.

According to the Daily Mail, Daobry was convicted of assaulting his wife at Colchester Magistrates Court in September 2016.

Sarah Jay was a former Essex Police officer who was strangled after telling Daobry she no longer loved him.

According to the magazine, Daobry may avoid jail time since judges recognized that he dialed 911 and confessed to his wrongdoing.

Jay, on the other hand, later committed suicide after being labeled a "lunatic."

This revelation comes as the former "Suits" star has always advocated for human rights, namely gender-based violence.

In her 2019 ActionAid speech, Meghan stated that men and boys should be held accountable for their acts.

A source told the magazine that hiring a bodyguard with a background like Daobry is noteworthy.

"If Meghan and Harry understood the whole story, they wouldn't be at all comfortable with him as their bodyguard," they continued.

According to an acquaintance familiar with Pere Daobry and Sarah Jay's relationship, the police officer treated his wife "appallingly," forcing her to flee via a window twice.

"I doubt Harry and Meghan would want someone like him to protect them."

The assault happened in December 2015, following an altercation in their bedroom.

Jay revealed in an emotional interview after her estranged husband was released from jail that she could sense his wrath and battled to breathe as he choked her.

"All I could concentrate on was staying alive. I was gasping for breath but couldn't get any in. I realized I had to lay still, not struggle and breathe through my nose. Trying to do that was the last thing I remember."

Meanwhile, Daobry, a 12-year Met employee, dialed 999 and admitted to the incident, stating, "I want to report an attack and I am the offender."

Daobry and Jay had been married for two years before he cheated on her. Daobry later disputed the attack but was convicted guilty following a trial.

However, he was merely sentenced to a 12-week suspended jail term, a year-long restraining order, and 200 unpaid hours.
