Dwayne Johnson to Focus on THIS Instead

After his Twitter statement last year, "The Rock" has made no mention of any political plans, until now.

In a recent interview with CBS News Sunday Morning, Dwayne Johnson reveals that any potential bid for the presidency is now "off the table" as he opts to focus on his role as a father instead.

"It's off the table. Yes, it is off the table," Johnson announced regarding political plans. "I will say this, 'cause it requires the B side to this: I love our country and everyone in it. And I also love being a daddy. And that's the most important thing to me, is being a daddy, number one, especially during this time, this critical time in my daughters' lives."

Additionally, the former pro-wrestler revealed that he had been approached by several influential figures urging him to side with them for politics in a recent Instagram post. However, he went on to express his commitment to making time for his children instead.

"Being a father to my little girls is the most important thing in my life. To raise 'em and always be there, during these critical years in their life." Dwayne wrote in his Instagram post caption. "I know what it's like to not be there all the time as a father, because of an unrelenting work schedule. I won't let that happen ever again."
