Actor Nick Kroll has this to say about the "Don't Worry Darling" drama.

Nick Kroll's career dates back to writing scripts in television series, until he started doing supporting roles for comedy films like "Sing", "Dinner For Schmucks", "Date Night", and "Get Him to the Greek".

Nick Kroll Was Not a Part of the Drama

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Nick Kroll talked about his experience of starring in Olivia Wilde's film and weighed in on the endless drama surrounding the film.

"The "Don't Worry Darling" trailer came out, and people were excited about it. People have been thinking about this movie for a while." Nick Kroll remembered. "Then all of the mishegas happened, the drama around the movie started to take hold, and I was not a part of any of that."

The film's cast members have been the subject of controversial headlines even before its release, including Shia Labeouf's firing incident, Harry Styles 'spitting' on Chris Pine during a film festival, and an alleged fight incident that took place between director Olivia Wilde and lead star Florence Pugh.

Additionally, Kroll expressed that he was oblivious to the ongoing drama surrounding his co-stars as he was just not doing press at the time.

"I'm not distancing myself at all, I just wasn't doing press at that point," Kroll explained. "My first exposure to it all was literally on the red carpet in Venice, and I was like, 'Ohhhh, I think people might be interested in this.' And I was right."

'Don't Worry Darling' Drama Debunked

Considering the controversy surrounding the film's cast members getting out of hand, it got to the point where at least 40 cast members signed a statement to defend the film from the gossip, which clarifies that the "unprofessional behavior" was false.

"As a crew, we've avoided addressing the absurd gossip surrounding the movie we're so proud of, but feel the need to correct the anonymous 'sources' quoted in a recent article," The statement wrote. "Any allegations about unprofessional behavior on the set of Don't Worry Darling are completely false."

"Don't Worry Darling" has garnered praise among critics since its premiere on September 23. The film stars Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, and more.
