Twenty-three-year-old Felix Lee of K-Pop by group Stray Kids was recently announced as the youngest member of UNICEF's Honors Club and the club's first member to join in 2024 after donating 100 million KRW (~$76,500) to the humanitarian aid organization.

According to a report by OSEN, the Korean Committee for UNICEF announced on Thursday that Felix has become the club's youngest member and described him as "a well-known person who has always taken the lead in donation activities for underprivileged neighbors."

Felix's 100 million KRW donation will be used to provide aid to Laos' concerns regarding water pollution, sanitation and nutrition.

Per OSEN's report, the Stray Kids member shared that he donated because he wanted to extend the love he received.

"I hope that children in Laos, who suffer from various difficulties due to polluted water, poor hygienic conditions and insufficient nutrition, will grow up in good health in a safer environment in the new year," he added.

Meanwhile, Choi Mi-jin, the secretary of UNICEF's Korean Committee, talked about how Felix is such a good influence.

"It is even more meaningful that the good influence of Felix, who is loved by people all over the world, can be conveyed to children worldwide through UNICEF," Choi said.

"I am truly grateful to Felix," Choi added.

Felix's philanthropic contributions were also reported on South Korean national TV by MBC News.

The K-Pop idol even inspired a fan to become a regular UNICEF donor due to his works.

X fan account @FELIXLVPRINCE tweeted, "Felix, thank you for being the perfect role model! I've gone in to make a donation and registered to be a regular donor! Thank you for your influence."

Meanwhile, Stray Kids' fans -- STAYs -- shared online how proud they were of Felix's generosity and good deeds.

"He truly has the kindest heart," one fan tweeted.

"The youngest member in history. Felix, every day, you are making me proud," wrote another fan.

"Thank you, Felix. [This is the] best way to start a year," commented a third fan.

A fourth fan said, "You can't convince me that he ISN'T AN ANGEL. Like bro's a literal angel."

In March 2023, Felix was appointed as a member of the Save the Children's Honors Club for his continuous donations.

A donor is considered a member of the club if he/she donated at least 30 million won within three years.

Felix was also appointed as a member of the World Vision Society after donating 50 million KRW (~$38,500) via the organization to aid the relief efforts following the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, per Star News.
