'Geeking Out' EXCLUSIVE: Actor Nicholas Podany Geeks Out About The Philosophy Of Physics

Podany, 27, is an actor and musician who has appeared on Broadway in 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.' He has also released his own songs on Spotify.

Per a recent announcement, he will take on the role of Billy Crystal in the upcoming movie 'SNL 1975.' A force to be reckoned with on the stage and screen who comes to Geeking Out to talk about physics.

In the third episode of 'Geeking Out,' Podany talked about one of his passions — one that doesn't get talked about frequently. 

"Ever since I was a kid I've been fascinated with physics. Not like the math because I'm not a genius. I can't do any of that. But the story of how things are. Not just how we live. Not just biology, but the how we exist. So! I've figured some things out. Not 100%, and if anyone listening to this is a physics expert, I'm probably getting so many things wrong."

He continued:

"But, I do want to take a shot at explaining what I know about the nature of the universe and the questions that we have because it fascinates me endlessly. When I'm having a bad day going on YouTube or reading a book about the nature of reality helps so much put things into perspective and always kind of puts me in such an existential place that it kind of reroutes my thinking to a more positive place."
