Amber Rose Claims Kanye West Wanted Her To Dress 'Very Sexy' When They Were Together
Amber Rose shared how Kanye West allegedly influenced her wardrobe.
West has been blamed for how his wife, Bianca Censori, dresses. Censori has turned heads during their public outings due to her provocative outfits. Although it isn't clear if West asked Censori to dress that way, Rose claimed on Thursday's episode of "Just B with Bethenny Frankel" that when she was with the "Gold Digger" rapper, he wanted her to don sexy dresses. The two dated from 2008 to 2010.
"I am conservative actually," Rose said. "I have always been conservative since I was young."

However, she said West turned her into "this sexpot type of girl." Rose added that she was "young" at the time and went along even if she knew she wasn't being true to herself.
"That was my first relationship with a celebrity ever but also in the public eye," she explained. "And he knows a lot about fashion, and he always wanted me to dress very sexy."
Following their split in 2010, the "Sister Code" star admitted that she couldn't shake her "sexy" image and was "pigeonholed" into that category. The projects offered to her were reportedly aligned with the sexy persona she portrayed when she was with West, and when she tried "to go against the grain," she was met with backlash.
"I would have producers saying, 'We want to do this video for MTV, and we want you at the pool, with a bikini on, martini in your hand.' And I'm like, 'Ugh, I'm so not her.' Like I'm so not her, and I get what I come off as, but I am so not her,'" she explained. "And they're like, 'Well, I guess you don't want to do it then.'"

In October 2020, Rose appeared on the "No Jumper" podcast and claimed that West allegedly "bullied" her years after they parted ways. She also stressed that she was a very different person when she was with the Grammy winner.
"That's what narcissists do, right? You share two years with someone, you take them around the world, you buy the jewelry, you shout out to the world how much you love them and how much fun you have with this person, and then the person decides that this is not what they want their life to be. I opted out," Rose said, per Us Weekly. "I don't want my life to be like that. I'm not that type of person."
Meanwhile, Censori's dad, Leo Censori, allegedly summoned West to fly to Australia, so they could talk about her controversial wardrobe. However, Censori was reportedly hesitant to allow her husband as she already knew how her dad would react.
An unnamed source previously said that Censori's family disapproved of the way she would dress after she married West. Censori's father allegedly wanted West to know that "he is hurting her family by turning his beloved daughter into a trashy-looking marketable commodity."
