Barron Trump displays very different body language around his dad, Donald Trump, and around his mom, Melania Trump, an expert has claimed.

Video footage emerged online earlier this week showing Barron towering over the former president and first lady as they attended Easter brunch at Mar-a-Lago in Florida on Sunday.

Analyzing the videos, body language expert Judi James told the Mirror that the 18-year-old, who reportedly stands at 6 feet and 7 inches, "is growing into his height now, and his confidence signals are increasing."

However, James claimed she noticed that Barron displays "two different body language states" when he is with his mother versus when he accompanies his dad.

Barron appeared confident when he was with Melania but awkward in videos showing him with Donald, the expert said.

In one video shared by a Mar-a-Lago guest on Instagram and reposted on X, Barron can be seen walking behind Melania before quickly moving to her side.

According to James, Barron's actions appeared to signal that the teen feels "the need to virtually take his father's place and share the appearance."

The youngest Trump child's move also suggested "a quiet desire for status and to raise his own profile in what looks like a more leadership-style capacity," the body language expert told the outlet.

James also noted that Barron appeared to strongly identify with his dad when he emulated the former president by giving supporters a thumbs-up.

However, she claimed that Barron showed more "awkwardness" when he was with Donald, with footage showing the teen walking behind his dad at all times instead of catching up with him.

According to James, Barron kept his distance possibly because of his father's "status and power signals."

James also claimed that Barron's hand gestures appeared to signal he was left cringing when Donald showed off his "dad dancing" moves.

In another video shared from the Mar-a-Lago Easter celebration Sunday, the Republican presidential candidate and his youngest son were both dressed in suits as they entered the ballroom together.

Barron initially followed his father before moving to the side as Donald began busting out his signature dance move and greeting guests.

Another video showed Barron seated next to his mom Melania inside the Mar-a-Lago ballroom, with both of them seemingly engaged in conversations.

Donald and Melania welcomed Barron in March 2006, just a little over a year after they tied the knot.

Before Donald was elected president, the couple told People in a 2015 interview that they preferred to be "hands-on" when it came to raising Barron, then 9.

The former model also shared that because the couple's only child spent most of his time with her, Barron loved having "one-on-one" time with his dad.

According to Melania, Barron admires Donald and "likes the way he talks, the way he is."

"They have beautiful respect and admiration for each other," said Melania.
