"Bump n' Grind" by R. Kelly, born Robert Sylvester Kelly, was the second single from his debut solo studio album "12 Play." The track became the longest-running No. 1 of 1994 in the US and Kelly's third No. 1 R&B hit.

In June 2022, the Chicago native was sentenced to 30 years in prison for using his fame to sexually abuse young girls, including some who were just children, in a systematic scheme that went on for decades. Kelly, 57, was found guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking in 2021. He was also ordered to pay a $100,000 fine, the Associated Press reports.

Johnson was the season three winner of BET's gospel singing competition show 'Sunday Best.' According to the Atlanta Black Star, her home was foreclosed on the day before she borrowed a car to drive to New Orleans to audition for the BET show that ultimately changed her life for the better.

The Florida native's 'Sunday Best' coronation song, "I Shall Leap into My Destiny," co-written by Johnson, went No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel chart.
