King Charles decided not to meet with Prince Harry while he was in the United Kingdom, and it could be the latter's fault, according to an insider.

The Duke of Sussex is in England to attend a service of Thanksgiving to mark the Invictus Games' 10th anniversary on Wednesday. During his trip, Prince Harry's spokesperson announced that his father would not meet with him because of his "full program."

However, a friend of King Charles and Queen Camilla, who spoke with The Daily Beast but chose to be anonymous, claimed that Prince Harry influenced his father's decision after his "cruel" remarks against his stepmother.

"Harry has made things very difficult for himself by saying such cruel and hurtful things about Camilla," the friend told the outlet. "Charles loves his sons, but he also loves his wife. The last few months have made it very clear how important she is; she has been the one propping up the whole edifice," the source said.

"Harry has made it very clear, very publicly, that he despises her. He has forced Charles to choose, which was a very silly thing to do because Camilla and he both chose each other a long time ago."

The insider claimed that Prince William also had reservations about Queen Camilla. However, the Prince of Wales decided to support and accept their father's choice and "got on with it." The tipster claimed that Prince Harry's behavior was partly to blame for King Charles' decision not to see him.

"Harry made a different decision, and one of the inevitable consequences of publicly calling your stepmother cruel names is that it becomes difficult for you to see your father," the insider noted.

Another tipster, also a friend of the royal family, shared the same sentiment. The source claimed that His Majesty made the decision due to Prince Harry's attitude toward his stepmom.

"It is hardly surprising that Charles didn't invite Harry round for tea and a scone. He did, after all, portray his wife as an evil, calculating, b***h in the biggest-selling book since the Bible," the second source said.

Prince Harry had said mean things about Queen Camilla in his 2023 book "Spare," calling her "dangerous" and a "villain." He also referred to her as the "third person" in his parents King Charles and Princess Diana's marriage. Additionally, Prince Harry claimed that Camilla "sacrificed me on her personal PR altar."

In his interview with Anderson Cooper for "60 Minutes" before the release of his book, Prince Harry said Camilla "needed to rehabilitate her image." He also accused her of having a connection with the British press, which allegedly made her "dangerous."

"That made her dangerous because of the connections that she was forging within the British press. And there was open willingness on both sides to trade of information. And with a family built on hierarchy, and with her, on the way to being Queen Consort, there was gonna be people or bodies left in the street because of that," Prince Harry claimed.
