Kanye West is pushing for his girlfriend/ baby mama Kim Kardashian to land front page of Vogue magazine.

According to reports, the 36-year-old Yeezus rapper is trying to convince the magazine's editor Anna Wintour to feature the reality star who gave birth two months ago to baby North West in a gorgeous fashion shoot.

Kanye has been against marketing his daughter on the cover of a magazine, but feels that a fashion cover would be more prestigious.

"It's no secret that Kanye is a huge fan of fashion, Vogue and especially Anna Wintour," a source close to Kanye told RadarOnline. "But it's also pretty well-known that Anna is NO fan of Kim or any reality star appearing in the pages of the magazine. Kanye is determined to make sure baby North isn't photographed by paparazzi then splashed across the world. He knows what he wants - a professional photographer and the cover of Vogue - nothing else. But clearly, trying to persuade Anna is going to be an uphill battle."

According to the site, Kanye has been compiling Kardashian's statistics of fashion magazine sells to present to Wintour. HollywoodLife.com pointed out that Kardashian's Cosmopolitan cover was reportedly the mag's highest selling issue of the year.

"Kanye is convinced that he's going to make this happen," the source said.

Meanwhile, Kris Jenner took to her daytime talk show, Kris to defend Kanye and Kardashian after President Obama quoted the hollywood couple as a reason why American children have changed the way they think.

"Kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing or where Kanye West was going on vacation," Obama said in a kindle interview. "And thinking that somehow that was the mark of success."

Jenner accused President Obama of not believing that children should dream big.

"It's really great that people aspire to get a great job... but I wasn't aware that you could only set the bar so high and that we could only dream so big," Jenner said after reading the president's quotes. "I was taught: Dream big, work hard and you could have whatever you wanted."
