White Castle ffered Liam Hemsworth $20,000 to give to a charity of his choosing for attempting to eat 45 burgers bought from their establishment, according to TMZ Sunday report.

Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, his co-star in the Hunger Games, earlier in August decided to split 90 burgers between themselves at White Castle. Hemsworth lived to tell the tale on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The duo braved through the challenge in true Harold and Kumar style but ended up puking at the end of it. Hemsworth told Kimmel that the comedic movie had a deep impact on him as a teenager in Australia and he thought that White Castle was part of the fiction told in the movie. When he finally came to the U.S. he was amazed to find out that it was actually a real burger restaurant. Hemsworth and Hutcherson filled three briefcases with White Castle burgers in Kentucky, took them to Hutcherson's home and ate them all. They eventually threw up in Hutcherson's garden.

When White Castle heard about the story, they chose to celebrate it by offering Hemsworth the huge sum of money.

Hemsworth's upcoming film, Hunger Games: Catching Fire, releases on Nov. 22. In the film Hemsworth plays Gale Hawthorne, a childhood friend of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence).

In other news, there has been some speculation surrounding Hemsworth's relationship with Miley Cyrus. Hemsworth did not accompany Cyrus to the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug 25 though she gave one of the most monumental performances of her career - her first time taking the VMA stage - and was also nominated for three awards, making her the most nominated female at the ceremony. It is also rumored that Cyrus' new song Wrecking Ball, which debuted on Aug. 24, is about Hemsworth.
