Will Smith’s Ex-Wife Sheree Zampino Sues Former Family Associate Over Explosive Claims

Sheree Zampino, the ex-wife of actor Will Smith, has filed a lawsuit against Bilaal Salaam, accusing him of making false and damaging statements about her in a viral online interview. The case, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, seeks more than $1 million in damages.
Zampino, 58, claims Salaam made "outrageously offensive, shocking, and hurtful statements" during an appearance on the YouTube series "Unwine with Tasha K." She says the comments were later shared widely across social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, People reported.
According to the complaint, Salaam allegedly described Zampino in highly offensive terms, including calling her a "whore" and claiming she was "screwing everybody in Hollywood."
A promotional clip for the interview reportedly included the caption: "Exclusive: Bilaal claims Will Smith's ex-wife Sheree Zampino was sleeping with everyone in [Hollywood]!!!"

Sheree Zampino Claims Emotional Distress
Zampino's lawsuit argues that the statements are completely false and meet the legal definition of slander under California law. The filing also states that Salaam either knew the claims were untrue or acted with "reckless disregard" for the truth.
"Plaintiff Sheree Zampino has been caught in the crossfire of Defendant Bilaal Salaam's ongoing vendetta against her former husband, actor Will Smith," the complaint says, adding that Salaam has recently shifted his attention toward her after previously targeting Smith and his current spouse.
Zampino is also suing for intentional infliction of emotional distress, saying the alleged remarks caused her "humiliation, embarrassment, emotional distress, mental anguish, and damage to her reputation."
Along with compensatory damages, she is seeking punitive damages and legal costs totaling more than $1 million.
Salaam has made similar public comments about the Smith family in past interviews, including claims involving Will Smith and actor Duane Martin, which were previously denied. He has also been involved in other legal disputes tied to the Smith family.
According to Complex, in a separate case, Salaam was ordered to pay over $32,000 in legal fees after losing a lawsuit involving Jada Pinkett Smith. That dispute also stemmed from his public statements about the Smith family.
