Lamar Odom has addressed reports of his drug struggles for the first time in an interview with TMZ, indicating that he does not have a problem.

Paparazzi caught up with the 33-year-old basketball player Monday while out in Los Angeles. He was asked whether he has a drug problem or if he thinks he needs professional help.

"No," Odom replied to both questions.

As far as a message for his fans, the star said, "I love 'em."

A photographer then asked Odom about his future NBA plans, which he responded, "Life is good!"

Asked whether he has been in contact with wife, Khloe Kardashian, Odom replied, "Of course, man, that's my wife."

Us Weekly noted that Odom stopped at Wokcano restaurant, but didn't sit down to eat, a server at the sushi spot revealed.

"It was odd that he didn't sit down to eat," the server told the magazine. "He actually seemed distracted. He's normally very friendly, but he seemed like he was in a rush."

Meanwhile, Kardashian continues to keep silent about her personal business. She posted a selfie to her Instagram page,  this time captioning the solemn photo with emoticons of the three "wise monkeys" -  which represent the mantra "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil."

Enstars reported earlier that rumors swirled that Khloe's family has been pushing her to break it off with the NBA star, the source said that isn't the case.

"Her family is being as supportive as possible," the source said. "They don't want to argue with her or make her even more upset. They know she's already heartbroken. They don't want to make things harder on her."
