Even top celebrity Cameron Diaz can have bad hair days. Diaz recently appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and admitted that she was reduced to tears when her hairstylist cut her hair a tad too short for her liking.

"There was a little misunderstanding," said Diaz, referring to her cut.  "I said, 'Oh I just want a little bit off.' And, it went from here to here [indicating two different hair lengths]." She continued: "It was one of those moments where I just couldn't ... I burst into tears."
Cameron's new hairdo took us all by surprise - as we are used to the "There's Something About Mary" start sporting longer hair. "I felt so vulnerable," Diaz said to Leno. "For a women to all of a sudden have no hair, oh my God."

Her hairstylist, which is also her friend, apparently felt so bad about it that she burst into tears as well. Diaz said: "I yelled at her, I screamed at her.... I felt really bad, she felt really bad, she started crying, I started crying, a couple of other people started crying. I ended up writing her a few emails after, the next couple of days, assuring her I wasn't going to kill her."

Diaz, who will soon turn 40, gave her thoughts on the aging process. "I love getting older. I don't think we embrace getting older enough. We don't embrace our older generation, and those are the ones that teach us everything. I love having wisdom and learning about myself and knowing myself better."

Diaz's new film "What to Expect When You're Expecting" will hit the box office May 18.
