Daniel Radcliffe will be a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday to talk about his newest film Kill Your Darlings, where he plays Beat poet Allen Ginsburg.

The actor has been making the media rounds to promote the film a lot lately, also appearing on The Colbert Report, The Today Show, and Live with Kelly and Michael. Radcliffe has not only revealed details about the film and other upcoming projects in his many interviews, but has also talked about his past success in the Harry Potter franchise.

The United Kingdom native, who earned over $80 million from the film series, revealed that the Harry Potter role made him paranoid for his future as an actor and also gave him a major attitude problem.

"I have a massive chip on my shoulder," he said. "When you fall into something at age 11 and get paid incredible amounts of money for your entire teenage years for doing a job anyone would want, there is a part of you that thinks everybody is just saying, 'He got there because he fell into it; he's not really an actor.' "

It has been recently reported that Radcliffe would be taking a hiatus from acting soon, something that the actor explained to be blown way out of proportion. According to The Times of India, the star clarified by saying he is just taking a small two-week break in New York after having worked back-to-back jobs.

Radcliffe will begin his next job in November filming Frankenstein, where he will play the role of Igor, the hunchback assistant.

Kill Your Darlings arrives in theaters Oct. 16. The Ellen DeGeneres Show airs Monday-Friday at 4 p.m. on NBC.
