Natalie Portman looks stunning in red on the November cover of Marie Claire magazine where she talks about her love for Los Angeles, Chris Hemsworth and her fans.

The actress praised Hemsworth, her 2011 Thor co-star. The two are also set to star in the movie's sequel Thor: The Dark World, which comes to theaters on Nov. 8.

"Chris is, like, one of the greatest people in Hollywood," she told the magazine. "He's the kind of actor who's so charismatic, he must be tired when he goes home."

While, the actress and her husband, Benjamin Millepied, plan to move to Paris, France by the end of next year, the 32-year-old professed her love for Los Angeles. She also explained why she prefers the city over New York.

"I just really really love it here," she said of the West Coast. "It's one of the most exciting places to be in the world right now. It's really central in terms of the arts. It feels like things are happening in L.A., you know? New York is more where art is bought than where art is made."

Portman, who has been in the industry since the early '90s, also had mostly positive things to say about her admirers.

"People are really cool, by and large," she said. "I try and stay away from drunk people. That's when they start getting rude and aggressive, like, 'Why did you suck in that movie?'"

Unlike many other celebrities, however, Portman desires to live a low-profile life.

"She's a very private person," the director of Black Swan, Darren Aronofsky, told the magazine. "But because she's been in the spotlight since she was so young and she's so beautiful, there's this real attention on her. Usually people who are haunted by the paparazzi say they don't want it, but they do. Natalie has no interest in that. She's not playing that game."
