Amid the large amount of speculation surrounding the highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII movie, the latest seems to indicate the return of C-3PO along with R2D2.

According to Screenrant, the protocol droid's return is extremely likely considering he should be fully functioning when Episode VII starts off. To add to the report, he's also one of the few characters that have been involved in all six of the franchise's films.

While C-3PO seems to be attached to the future blockbuster, many fans are surely wondering whether actor Anthony Daniels would reprise his role as the robot.

Recently on hand for a spotlight panel at NYCC 2013, Daniels may have spilled the beans on his status for the upcoming J.J. Abrams directed flick via stating that he's been in seven of the films, according to Film Buff Online.

"Walls have ears. And we know what they look like. They're very big ears... Yes I am the only actor to be in all seven because I feel. Six! Whatever," he said.

Star Wars: Episode VII is set to occur around the time period after the Return of the Jedi. It's scheduled to launch on July 15, 2015. A fan-made trailer of the movie can be watched below.
