Just hours after announcing his split from his wife, Miranda Kerr, Orlando Bloom appeared on Live With Kelly and dished on kissing his Broadway co-star Condola Rashad Friday Oct. 25.

"We sometimes get applause after our first kiss because it just goes on...Sometimes I'm like, I'm not letting go,'" the actor said of his fellow Romeo and Juliet cast mate, 26-year-old Rashad. She is the daughter of Phylicia Rashad, mostly known for her role as Claire Huxtable onThe Cosby Show.

The Lord of the Rings actor took it a step further and revealed a British kissing technique called 'snogging' while offering to give Kelly a little practice!

"It's a British term for a smooch, or you know, a good, long kiss. A proper, get in there. Love to show you," he told Kelly before she tried to rush into an "emergency commercial break."

Bloom went on to talk about his experience on Broadway.

"I feel so fortunate to be doing it. I mean, it's a monster of a play, a wonderful play, but it was really one of those things where my mom was like so, so you decided to climb Everest on the first trip out the gate? That was your thinking, without oxygen."

A rep for Bloom announced he and Kerr's separation after 3 years of marriage late Thursday night (Oct. 24).

"In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation. Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and family."

The couple's last public appearance was on Sept. 19 on opening night of Romeo and Juliet.
