After actress Kaley Cuoco said in a recent interview that if she could, she would marry fiance Ryan Sweeting "tomorrow," Ellen DeGeneres decided to put her to the test.

During Thursday's episode of DeGeneres' talk show Ellen, she offered the Big Bang Theory star the opportunity to get married on her show.

After the actress shared the tale of how they met, fell in love and quickly became engaged, the talk show host said her head writer Kevin is an ordained minister. When the stage curtains opened, her head writer was standing in front of a floral wreath-decorated wedding alter.

"Should you choose you can do it [now]," she offered. "He can marry the two of you, it'll save you so much money."

DeGeneres also said that the music would be provided by pop group The Wanted who were also guests on the show.

"We have a package. You can dance; there's dancing afterwards," she said. "They'll be your best men and I can walk you down the aisle."

The comedienne gave Cuoco a veil and necklace to complement the short white dress she was wearing. Sweeting joined Kevin on stage. He was casually dressed for the surprise "wedding" wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.

When DeGeneres handed the couple the wedding bands as they stood at the altar, Cuoco asked, "Is this legal?" When asked if she would take Sweeting as her husband, Cuoco answered, "hell yeah I do!"
