Beyonce is back in the states for the North American leg of her Mrs. Carter World Tour, but she's not misusing her off time, as she was recently spotted in New York City on the set of a new video.

The 31-year-old Grown Woman singer and working mother of Blue Ivy was photographed walking the city streets in a red leather Burberry vinyl trench coat and silver pumps. (See photos here:)

No word on which song she's shooting a video for, as it could be for an upcoming album or an old song.

Enstars reported earlier that Beyonce planned to release a new song around her husband, Jay Z's birthday which is Dec. 4. The New York Daily News pointed out that the main reason she decided to wait until early December so her single will come out right after Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Miley released their albums.

"Many in the music industry have gotten intel that Beyoncé will put out a single in the fourth quarter, some time from late November to early December," a source said. "It's an official single and it's timed perfectly to push out all the others. It will be out before the end of the year."

The source added that Ole Music Publishing in Nashvile is currently putting the last touches on a new track before handing it to Columbia Records.

Nonetheless, it's good to see Beyonce focusing on her work instead of responding to the divorce rumors that have surrounded her and Jay Z.

Though reports indicated that the couple was seperating after it was claimed that the rapper was abandoning his family, a source said that the duo is doing just fine.

"Beyonce is anticipating the Christmas holiday for the family to be together. They are not separating," the source said, according to HollywoodLife.com.
