Sarah Palin will be hosting a new show focusing on the outdoors that will air on Sportsman Channel.

The show will be called Amazing America with Sarah Palin.

"The Grizzly is unpredictable - and we've got the mother of them all, " the channel said Monday, Dec. 9 while announcing Palin's return to reality TV. The show will highlight the "red, white, and blue" lifestyle, essentially capturing the lives of people interested in hunting, fishing and shooting.

"It's very important to have somebody of her stature as a personality on Sportsman because it validates the whole category for everybody," said Gavin Harvey, the CEO of the network.

The former governor of Alaska also shared her excitement about joining the network.

"The network showcases a lifestyle that I love and celebrate every day and it's great to be a part of their team," she said in a statement.

Palin's last reality television show was Sarah Palin's Alaska, which aired on TLC in 2010 and lasted for one season (nine episodes). The series also featured Palin's family: her husband Todd and two of her children, Willow and Piper.

The 2008 vice presidential candidate released her new book, War on Christmas, which attacks atheists, in November. At an event promoting her book, Palin called atheists were a threat to America and were taking Christ out of Christmas.

"The road that we are on today is too many of those angry atheists armed with attorneys would try to take away that freedom to express faith. It's going to end in ruin unless we do something about it," she said.
