While Khloe Kardashian has been staying quiet about her divorce to Lamar Odom, her mother, Kris Jenner, opened up about it in an interview with HuffPost Live that was published Friday.

Shes spoke on how Kardashian is doing since she officially filed for divorce in December and said that Kardashian is struggling, but the support she gets from fans helps her cope.

"You know, she's having a hard time. She's going through a very difficult time and she's doing her best. I think you'll see that on the new season [of Keeping Up With the Kardashians], so I think that's important. The show is in over 100 countries around the world...just the caring and support from everywhere, she feels it."

But Jenner said the tabloids do not show the same support and love for Kardashian. In fact, she said that what they do print about Kardashian is "99.9% made up or not true". So she tries to get not only Khloe but the other Kardashian/Jenner girls to not give it any attention at all.

"You can't add that negative, disgusting energy into your world because it gives no room for something good. Right now, it's about goodness and trying to find the best in someone else, not the worst. Certainly if you can't find the worst then make it up."

Jenner continued to say her daughters don't have to worry about the negative press they get because the mainstream media coverage they get is more than enough for them.

"The girls are constantly on beautiful, fantastic magazine covers and doing mainstream media and great television shows and really enjoying doing guest spots on different things. Their world is full of all the media they could want."

Season nine of Keeping Up With the Kardashians premieres on E! Jan. 19.
