Rihanna added to her collection of tattoos when she visited Bang Bang Tattoos in New York City on Saturday, Jan. 11.
The Stay singer got a large cross with designs around it on the inside of her wrist, complimenting the intricate tribal design emblazoned on her right hand and wrist.
The ink job seems to take a while since the 25-year-old stayed inside the shop from midnight and until 5am, according to Daily Mail.
Tattoo artist Bang Bang revealed Rihanna's new tattoo on his Instagram page, captioning a photo of the artwork, "I love tattooing @badgalriri." He also uploaded a video of his work station as he prepared to give the Barbados native another tattoo.
Rihanna now has 22 tattoos on her body, MTV reported. She visited Bang Bang also in October when he completed an intricate design on her hand, adding to her traditional Maori tattoo she had done in New Zealand in September 2013.
The singer does not hide her love of tattoos, revealing during an interview with GQ magazine last November that she almost got a design on her face.
"The tattoo artist said, 'Nope, I'm not gonna do it. Because if you're looking at your face, it's right there staring at you,' " she said.
Among the many tattoos Rihanna already has there is a music note on her ankle, a pisces sign behind her ear, a Sanskrit prayer on her hip, a trail of stars down the back of her neck and the word "Shhh..." on the side of her finger.
Rihanna collaborates with Shakira on a new track titled Can't Remember To Forget You, which premieres Monday, Jan. 13.
