Miley Cyrus does not mind being called a lesbian -  just do not call her the "U word."

The singer and gay rights advocate tweeted Sunday, Jan. 12, that she gets "called an ugly lesbian a lot more than one would think. Or maybe not." She then suggested name-callers could "atleast call me an interesting lesbian" because she "hate(s) the U word."

A fan Twitter account reminded the 21-year-old to not "give a s--t" about anyone calling her an  "ugly lesbian," reassuring her, " we are all milesbians for you doll!" Cyrus replying to the account with an "lol" and friendly smiley.

The Adore You singer had what she described as an "#emo" night listening to Sometimes by Britney Spears "on repeat" and Christina Aguilera's 2002 album Stripped.

That same night she asked Twitter users," why are people sooooo seriousoooo?" and told the paparazzi  to "Suck a fat Eggplant," before ultimately deciding, "I love being alone on sundays."

The former Disney star was snubbed at this year's Grammy Awards, not receiving a single nomination for her work. Her album, Bangerz, did not make the Sept. 30 cutoff for eligibility, while the summer hits We Can't Stop and Wrecking Ball failed to garner any nods.

Cyrus is the new face of Marc Jacobs' spring/summer 2014 collection. The first of her campaign photos were released earlier in January. Other stars who have posed for Jacobs include Dakota Fanning, Victoria Beckham, Helena Bonham Carter and Sofia Coppola.
