Keeping up with the Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian has special plans as she spends her first Valentine's Day as a single woman since splitting from estranged husband Lamar Odom.

A source told Hollywood Life in an article published Tuesday, "For Valentine's Day she wants to be with her family and close friends. Valentine's for her is about love, not necessarily romantic love. She's all about loving herself right now, and treating herself like a princess, instead of waiting for a guy to do it."

However, when it comes to romantic love, Kardashian definitely wants to experience it again and is looking to move on from her relationship with Odom.

"Khloe is determined to find love again. She doesn't want to stay in a negative place and is working on forgiving herself and Lamar for everything that went wrong," the source continued.

The source continued to say that Khloe still loves Odom and would not take back tying the knot with him in the first place.

"She is convinced that everything happens for a reason and that if she stays loving and open, she will meet the right person. She is just taking care of herself and spending quality time with family and the little ones," they said.

Kardashian is also said to blame herself for her failed marriage with the former NBA star.

Another close source said, "She thinks she was too hard on him and pushed him away when all she was trying to do was bring him closer when he was at his worst. She'll never admit that, but it's true. She really didn't want to leave Lamar but she had to."
