Morgan Beck Miller is having the time of her life with her husband, Bronze-medal winner Bode Miller, despite the looming controversy surrounding his NBC interview.

Bode Miller Breaks Down in Emotional Interview

Morgan Miller, a model and professional volleyball player, has been by her husband's side through some of the toughest times in his life. Between his recent child custody battle, the loss of his younger brother, and training for the Olympics, she's remained a source of positivity for the 36-year-old skier.

The two were pictured kissing and hugging as they happily shared his medal-moment. Before his breakdown, Bode Miller told NBC, "To be on the podium, it's a really big day for me." He continued, "Emotionally, I had a lot riding on it. I'm super, super happy."

NBC anchor Christin Cooper came under fire for her interview with Bode, just moments after he became the oldest person to win a medal in the Olympic Alpine competition. Miller, who was unquestionably shaken by his emotional win, was brought to tears when asked if his win was for his late younger brother Chelone, who passed away in April.

Many fans and media outlets thought the interview went too far, and looked down upon NBC for airing it.

However, Miller does not blame anyone, tweeting, "My emotions were very raw, she asked the questions that any interviewer would have, pushing it part of it, she wasn't trying to cause pain", on Feb. 17.

On Feb. 18, Miller retweeted an inspiring quote from @Sports_Greats that said, "Don't let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do - John Wooden".

If she was responding to the interview the backlash received, the tweet may have been a public statement of what she thinks her husband should do, despite all of the drama- which is to focus on what you can control, and continue to compete, no matter what.

In spite of the public perception, both partners seem to be grateful for their experience during the past two weeks. Bode's supportive wife recently posted a photo on Instagram of the two just before the games, with the caption, "So thrilled to get to go through this experience with my husband @millerbode!"
