Paul Walker's absence during filming of Fast and Furious 7 is "rough" according to actor Tyrese Gibson.

Autopsy Suggests Paul Walker Was Still Alive After Car Crash?

Gibson recently spoke to Access Hollywood about working on set without Walker, who he was famously close to.

"It's probably going to be a rough couple of days because we're not going to look to the left or right and see our brother but he's there in spirit," Gibson said.

"That's my brother, and we're family, so we're going to keep it rocking," he added.

Aaron Paul's Need for Speed to Compete With Paul Walker Film?

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Walker's character, Brian O'Connor. While some reports suggested the character will be killed off others hinted that the producers were finding a way to keep him alive, with the help of a suitable replacement actor.

While Gibson did admit that he knew about how O'Connor's character arc will pan out, he chose to stay tight-lipped about it.

"I do, but I can't go into it. I can't speak on nothing. It's all being figured out. It's an uncomfortable process but it's all being figured out," he said.

Walker died on Nov. 30 in Santa Clarita, Calif. The 40-year-old was the passenger in a car being driven by his friend, race car driver Roger Rodas, who also died in the car crash. The speeding car hit a tree and instantly burst into flames, causing both the actor and Rodas to die on the spot.

The actor was headed home after attending a charity event for his foundation, Reach Out Worldwide.
